"Desafío Robledillo" , is a mountain race that runs through the most emblematic viewpoint of the Community of Madrid, in which we will combine the journey through a medieval section with the ascent to the Peña de la Cabra on its southern slope, following the edge of slates and quartzites created by the spectacular Canarian Canals. From the same town of Robledillo taking a track that ascends to the hill of Peña Parda, crossing it through a pass at 1230 m through which we enter the Riato stream basin, a powerful, although short, watercourse that has drilled a narrow valley in the slates of the Peña de la Cabra . From here the route becomes a prodigious ascent, a continuous challenge of skill, for a short section, by a ridge that crowns the geodesic vertex of La Cabra, one of the best viewpoints in the mountains of Madrid.

The most daring will be able to discover the well-known “firewall of death” named for its great difference in height of less than a kilometer and a half.

“Desafío Robledillo” presents several distances so that all runners can enjoy this wonderful environment.
