Birthplace of the EcoTrail concept, EcoTrail Paris will celebrate its 13th edition on October 3 and 4, 2020, following the measures taken against COVID-19 (better known as coronavirus) that forced the organizers to postpone the event initially planned for March.

EcoTrail Paris was born in 2008 in the Parisian suburbs and since then the concept has spread to many European cities such as Brussels , Oslo , Madrid or Florence, but also in the rest of the world, such as Malaysia , Thailand. or in the Middle East. EcoTrail Paris values, based on ecological responsibility , solidarity and accessibility , as well as varied routes and friendly atmosphere make this a path not to be missed; More than 10,000 runners will attest!

Travel

Many formats will be offered and will be available in various distances:

  • Trail 80K

The EcoTrail Paris reigning distance, the Trail 80K begins at the Saint-Quentin pond and ends at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, having passed the Paris Observatory and the Saint-Cloud national domain. This qualifying trail for the UTMB has approximately 1,500 meters of elevation difference in western Paris.

  • Trail 45K

After starting in the gardens of the castle of Versailles, this royal-style sports and nature trail crosses the domain of Saint-Cloud and ends at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. The route includes 900 meters of elevation, as well as two snack points.

  • Trail 30K

This very popular trail starts at Terrasse de l'Observatoire de Paris and after passing through the Saint-Cloud domain, it ends at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, like all other trails. A course with approximately 500 meters of elevation, ideal to embark on your first royal trail or for all marathoners who wish to enjoy a more natural environment.

  • Trail 18K

This short, accessible but sporty trail begins on Terrasse de l'Observatoire de Paris, just like its older brother, the Trail 30K. However, the 18K Trail takes off through the Meudon National Forest before ending in the heart of the Saint-Cloud National Domain, surrounded by nature.

  • Trail 10K

New for 2020, the Trail 10K is suitable for everyone and is the ideal playground to discover the trail, its atmosphere and its values.

  • Walk 75 - Place des Grands Hommes

A 13 kilometer walk from Place Martin Nadaud, passing République, Notre Dame de Paris and the Luxembourg Gardens.

  • Walk 78 - Nature Destination

A 22-kilometer walk from the Château de Versailles, passing through the Tronchet park and the Meudon and Versailles national forests.

  • Walk 94 - La Traversée de Paris

A 14-kilometer walk that begins at the Chateau de Vincennes, passing the National Library of France, the Louvre Museum and the Tuileries Garden.

  • Nordic markets

Three Nordic walks will also be planned to discover the natural and cultural heritage of the Paris region. The choice is possible between the 13-kilometer Tourist, the 21-kilometer Progressive and the 23-kilometer Sportsman with a 500-meter height difference.

Wednesday September 30, 2020:

  • 6 pm.: Bib collection for the Eiffel Tower Vertical
  • 8:10 pm.: Start of the first qualifying round
  • 8.50 pm.: Start of the second qualifying round
  • 9.50 pm.: Start of the final

Thursday, October 1, 2020:

  • 12pm - 8pm: Bib collection at the Émilie Anthoine sports center

Friday, October 2, 2020:

  • 10 am - 8 pm: Bib collection at the Émilie Anthoine sports center

Saturday October 3, 2020:

  • 8:30 am: 10K trail departure
  • 9 am .: Departure of the 18K trail
  • 10 am: Departure from the 30K trail
  • 10 am - 8 pm: Bib collection at the Émilie Anthoine sports center
  • 11 am.: 45K trail departure
  • 12:15 pm.: Exit trail 80K

Sunday, October 4:

  • 8:15 am.: Departure from Sportive (Nordic Walk) and Hike 78
  • 8:45 am: Progressive start (Nordic walking)
  • 9 am: Start of the walk 94
  • 9:30 am: Departure of the tourist (Nordic walk)
  • 10 am: start of the walk 75
  • 12:30 pm.: Country buffet
