La Parisienne is a women-only event focused on sharing the values of sport, wellness and health which takes place in Paris every fall since 1997. The date for the 24th edition of La Parisienne is set to September 11, 12 and 13, 2020, with about 40,000 women expected to take part in this edition.
There will be plenty to choose from: a 7K and 10K run through the heart of the French capital, a 5K walk, a yoga session below the Eiffel Tower as well as plenty of workshops and classes, music, food stands and other animations to ensure a fun-filled weekend for all in attendance! Costumes are also encouraged on the runs to maximize the fun and each edition has a theme.
La Parisienne is the perfect playground to live unforgettable moments and make new friends while taking a moment to take care of yourself and have fun in the process! La Parisienne is open to women of all ages and fitness levels, whether they are by themselves, amongst friends or colleagues, or joined by their families. Grab your costume, choose your challenge, and see you on the start line on September 13th, 2020!
La Parisienne features two runs and a 5K walk, as well as a yoga session on the Champs de Mars.
The 7K starts off from the Iéna bridge, in front of the Trocadéro and heads along the northern banks of the Seine until the Grand Palais, where it turns into the world-famous Champs Élysées and into the Place de la Concorde. The race then crosses the Seine on the Alexandre III bridge and tracks south into the Boulevard des Invalides before turning around and heading back up to the southern bank of the Seine. It will run along the bank all the way to the Eiffel Tower and around the Champ de Mars to reach the finish line.
The 10K Run and the 5K Walk will use a similar route to the 7K’s but adjusted to meet the distance of these two routes.
To be confirmed.
