The fortieth edition of the already traditional and popular Matagalls Montserrat is organized on September 14 , being an event full of history and nature. The Matagalls Montserrat is an individual and non-competitive endurance trek through the mountains that aims to complete it in less than 24 hours, and is done in memory of the great hiker who was Mn. Jaume Oliveras , who made it for the first time on August 4, 1904. It is organized by the Excursionist Club of Gràcia, non-profit, through the invaluable voluntary and altruistic collaboration of its associates.
The distance is 82.6 kilometers , with a cumulative drop of 5,773 meters .

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 14
From 11: 00h: Collection of documentation, shirt and chips (El Brull).
The test will take place at the Nucli del Brull (Montseny) in groups of 35 participants per minute, between 3 and 4:30 p.m. on September 14, 2019. Each participant will leave at the hour and minute indicated on their bib. Those born in 1948 and earlier are assigned the departure time immediately before 3pm.
- Departure from Barcelona (from the Mistos monument C / Padre Mariana - Av. Cardenal Vidal and Barraquer metro Montbau L3) from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Saturday, September 14.
- Departure from RENFE-Granollers station at 12pm on Saturday, September 14.
- Departure from Monistrol's rack railway parking at 11:30 am. Saturday, September 14.
- In the control station of Sant Llorenç Savall from 02:30, there will be a bus that will go to the FGC station in Sabadell for all those who cannot finish the journey.
