Following preventive actions against COVID-19 (better known under the name of coronavirus), the Semi de Paris, initially planned for March 1 st had to postpone the event to Sunday September 6, 2020. We attach the link to the organization statement here .
The Semi de Paris and its 44,000 registrants will therefore meet on Sunday September 6, 2020 on the Quai d'Austerlitz in Paris to take advantage of the magnificent rolling route developed through eastern Paris and the Bois de Vincennes.
This 28 th edition of Half of Paris is the ideal springboard for novice riders who want to face a primary challenge and for experienced runners who want to explode their lap or get leg for a marathon. In addition to the pacesetters on the course, training sessions to prepare before the big day will be offered.
So don't wait any longer and come and represent or discover the French capital! See you on September 6 !
The Semi de Paris starts on the Quai d'Austerlitz and quickly crosses the Seine at the Pont d'Austerlitz for a short foray into the center of Paris, via Place de la Bastille, Rue de Rivoli and the Hôtel de City before joining the quays of the Seine. The route runs along the quays to that of Bercy where it enters the Boulevard de Bercy to join Avenue Daumesnil and reach the Bois de Vincennes by the Porte Dorée. The runners will then loop through the Château de Vincennes and the hippodrome before taking the avenue de Gravelle to inner Paris. The route crosses the Seine again via the Pont de Tolbiac before ending in front of the François Mitterrand library .
Refreshments will be available along the 21 km route.
