With the new year the most ambitious edition of the Fred is launched . Olsen Express Santa Cruz Extreme. The Tenerife event, to be held on October 10, is already working on preparations for a mountain race that promises strong emotions with the modifications proposed by the organization led by the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council .

The main novelties of the Fred. Olsen Express Santa Cruz Extreme 2020 are focused on their new routes , and that is that the demand will rise significantly for the next edition. The queen distance of the event will be the ANAGA XTRM 60K , with more than 4,100 meters of accumulated positive elevation gain and maintaining the start at Las Teresitas Beach . Next October, the participants of this ultra will be able to discover new places such as Chamorga, Roque Bermejo and the Anaga Lighthouse.

The second race in mileage will be the ANAGA XTRM 33K , with an increase in distance compared to previous editions and with more than 2,100 meters of accumulated positive elevation gain, in which runners will experience the luxury of touring Taganana and ascending the Las Vueltas trail. destination to the final goal. For its part, the ANAGA XTRM 18K will have a linear route this year, with a new start in the Caserío de Afur and with 1,000 meters of positive slope.

In addition, next October the ANAGA XTRM 11K will be experienced for the first time, a faster and more accessible route for participants who seek shorter distances and which, in turn, also allows them the possibility of passing through some of the corners most emblematic of Anaga. Finally, the 10K Joëlette modality will once again give the opportunity to teams made up of five people from the Caserío de Los Catalanes to the finish line, where they will receive the warmest applause.
